Interested in Aruba SMB switches? The Aruba Instant On 1930 switch series is primarily aimed at small and medium businesses.
The Aruba Instant On 1930 switch series lets you do more. These intelligently managed, fixed-configuration Gigabit switches are affordable and easy to deploy. Designed for today’s bandwidth-intensive applications. The Aruba Instant On 1930 switch has the features you need and the features you really want.
Function
Advanced Control and Management
The Aruba Instant On 1930 Switch Series can be deployed using two management modes – Instant On cloud management (mobile app and/or web portal access) and local web GUI. Cloud management allows you to easily and quickly set up the 1930 switch, and monitor and manage it anytime, anywhere.
Advanced Security
Enhanced security features such as IEEE 802.1x and VLANs protect your network from unwanted or unauthorized access. Automatic Denial of Service (DOS) monitoring and protection of the network from malicious attacks. Administrative security restricts access to key configuration commands, providing multiple permission levels with password protection.
Long-distance SFP/SFP+ fiber connections
The 1930 series switches offer more available SFP and SFP+ ports and available copper Ethernet ports. Fiber optic connections offer higher uplink bandwidth and expansion options, delivering more PoE over longer distances than copper cables can support.
PoE
Save time and money by providing deployment flexibility for all small business environments with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. The 1930 switch series can be deployed in 8, 24 and 48 ports for non-PoE and Class 4 PoE (ie PoE+) models. Up to 30W of power per port means you can deploy innovative 802.11ac wireless technology to maximize productivity. Class4 PoE options allow devices such as IP phones, surveillance cameras, and access points to be powered without additional wiring.
Appearance
The sleek and clean look of Aruba Instant On switches blends neatly into your environment. Additionally, the 8-port model, as well as the 24- and 48-port non-PoE+ models, are fanless, ideal for quiet office deployments.
Compare
