The new Cisco ASR 1009-X & Cisco ASR 1006 Router are two Aggregation Services Routers of the recent Cisco NPI Launch.
They are the newest members of Cisco ASR 1000 family.
- The Cisco ASR 1009-X Router is for medium and high-end enterprises with up to 200 Gbps total system bandwidth in a 9-rack-unit (9RU) form factor. With the ASR 1009-X, you can benefit from best-in-class service performance and network resilience through redundant hardware and carrier class software.
- The Cisco ASR 1006-X Router targets medium and high-end enterprises with up to 100 Gbps total system bandwidth in a 6-rack-unit (6RU) form factor. The Cisco ASR 1006-X is a highly flexible router that is ideal as a WAN aggregation or Internet edge device.
